Make-Up Lessons/Student Absences

Parents are responsible for notifying Dr. Ha Dang at least 24 hours in advance of all student
absences. If the absence is due to illness, one hour of notice is allowed. There are no refunds for
last-minute lesson cancelation or no-call-no-show absences. Failure to notify will result in the
forfeiture of the lesson and it will not be eligible for make-up lessons. Note that once a make-up
lesson is scheduled and confirmed between the parents and Dr. Dang, the lessons will be
forfeited if the student fails to attend.
Rescheduling lesson is allowed if the notice is given at least 7 days in advance. Rescheduled or
a make-up lesson is limited to one per month.
If an emergency occurs or lessons must be canceled due to inclement weather, online lessons are
offered at the same lesson time.

Teacher Absences

In the event that Dr. Dang is unable to teach a scheduled lesson, she will either reschedule the
lesson or arrange a make-up lesson. Dr. Dang reserves the right to withdraw or discontinue any
class for which enrollment is insufficient to organize or continue. She also reserves the right to
dismiss any student who demonstrates inappropriate conduct or behavior in the classroom.

Inclement Weather

If the Studio is closed due to inclement weather on the days that lessons are scheduled, Dr. Dang
will schedule the make-up lessons at the earliest possible time. If the students do not to attend the
make-up lessons that were mutually agreed upon, they will be forfeited.

Payment/Fees

The lesson fee payment is due on the 7th of each month. If the payment is not paid on time, there will be a late fee of $10 and Dr. Dang will not schedule further lessons until the lesson fee and the late fees are
paid.
